The Plus 8 is largely credited with saving the company during its 36 year production from the years 1968-2004. The two seat roadster is a front engine and rear drive vehicle. Even with only 185 hp it is quick due to its overall weight which is only 2,072lbs. The plaid design is a wrap over the original beige paint.

This Plus 8 is powered by an aluminum fuel injected 3.9L V-8 and produces 185hp. Not much by today’s standards, however, the Plus 8 only weighs about 2,000lbs. The power is transmitted to the rear drive axle via a 5-speed manual transmission. Production was halted in 2004 but was resumed again in 2012. The combination of English styling, V-8 power and light weight make for a great little sports car.
