Although the body remained the same as in ’56, the 1957 Corvette offered a couple of firsts. One was a new Rochester mechanical fuel injection which this car has and other being a 4-speed manual transmission. Our car retains its original 3-speed manual transmission and is one of just 756 283 C.I. fuel injected Corvettes producing 283 H.P.
