1965 Porsche 356SC
Porsche started building cars in 1948 in Gmund, Austria. The 356 was the first production model built by Porsche. After approximately 50 cars were built the factory was relocated to Zuffenhausen, Germany where production of the 356 continued until April of 1965. Roughly 78,000 356’s were built in total and about half of those remain today.
The car in the Mathews Collection is a 1965 356 SC Karmann Coupe and has a “Certificate of Authenticity” presented by Porsche Cars of North America. Bali Blue exterior with black leatherette interior make for a great combination. Optional equipment on this car includes the following;
