2016 KTM 1290 Super Duke GT

Refinement, comfort, speed and ultimate performance is how KTM describes their 1290 Super Duke GT. Who are we to argue? They fail to mention how totally cool this bike looks. The orange frame and stripes contrast drastically with the charcoal/silver body work and black wheels. The single sided swing arm is beefy looking and the large exhaust gives it a balanced look. So much technology is in the make-up of this bike. Semi-active suspension, ABS, traction control, chrome –moly frame, Brembo brakes its all here. They took the legendary 1290 Super Duke R “The Beast” and added a few creature comforts like the half fairing, larger seats and saddle bags to make it a more touring bike while still retaining the Super Duke R’s DNA. The 1,301cc V-Twin makes 173hp. Total weight is 503lbs. Both impressive numbers.
