2016 Mercedes AMG GT S
Most people would probably agree that Mercedes makes pretty darn good cars. Well, AMG is their performance division and there is little doubt they make darn good cars. The GT S is the second car built completely in house by the AMG Division of Mercedes following the gull winged SLS. The 4.0L Twin Turbo V-8 produces 503hp and a head snapping 479lb.ft. of torque. The front/mid engine, rear drive layout is quintessential sports car with a long hood and short deck. The long hood allows for the engine to be set back towards the rear of the car for better weight distribution. Power is routed to the rear wheels via a 7-speed dual clutch transmission and launches the car from 0-60 in supercar category 3.7 seconds and boasts a top speed of 193mph.
